136 hostages are still in enemy hands. Their physical and mental health is a major cause for concern.
– The pro- and anti-Israel divides cannot be ignored. The world is tilting towards division: in politics, in the media and even in the churches. Pro-Palestinian or pro-Israeli, each has an idea and defends it bitterly.
From Doha, the Hamas Supreme Authority incites people to die as martyrs. It sounds like an invitation to collective suicide, without the decision-makers or the Authorities! Do the leaders of Hamas and the PLO want as many Gazan victims as possible, in order to weaken the Palestinians? Imagine them having to face pertinent questions: Where did your billions come from while we vegetated in the open-air prison called Gaza? Why did you steal from us?
What future for the Palestinians?
– I think it’s fair to say that the two-state solution is a thing of the past. After 1948, 1967, 1973 and 2023, Hamas’s international affirmation of its desire to destroy the Jewish people has been given one time too many. The modus operandi is that of 07.10.2023, pogrom-style, unscrupulous terrorist action, ignoring all humanitarian conventions. Let a Palestinian society be rebuilt in the Gaza Strip, with the genocidal ideology of Hamas and the PLO? This would mean sacrificing hundreds of soldiers and human lives once again. The only question is, how long?
– Financing refugees from father to son means turning them into welfare recipients. This is complete nonsense, and makes beneficiaries dependent on international aid.
Working, integrating into a new life situation, having to train is not only logical. This enables you to assert yourself, achieve your goals and even surpass them. It’s rewarding and promotes personal satisfaction and joie de vivre. Receiving a salary for one’s work is a source of satisfaction and personal satisfaction.
– UNRWA funding was used to buy weapons, dig tunnels and indoctrinate children in schools. Since 2014, funds not allocated to the budgeted object have been regularly raised at the UN. Will nations continue to fund UNRWA?
– So what does the future hold for Gaza and its citizens? With its countless tunnels, this city will be difficult to secure. Bandits and terrorists will eventually feel at home here. This town is sure to remain a ruin for a long time to come, abandoned by its inhabitants.
Demands for real peace
International peace meetings are popular. Spending a week or two in luxury hotels is very pleasant. The media turn heads of delegations into international heroes. But for the advancement of a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the following points must be taken into consideration:
– The causes of the violence must be recognized and debated: the desire to eradicate Israel by Hamas, the Muslim Brothers or Islam deserves to be officially explored in greater depth. The Islamic Resistance Movement sees itself as spearheading the circle of struggle against global Zionism. The Movement joins its efforts to those of all fighters in the Palestinian arena.276 This is more a declaration of war than an expression of peace!
– The right of Jews to live in safety on the Land they bought with dollars and repaid with the blood of their children, the defenders of Israel, is inescapable.
– Palestinians must also be able to live in peace and be taught according to historical reality.
– A peaceful future is possible if both sides accept and contribute to it.
A state in which Jews and Palestinians live together in reconciliation, refusing all violence, would be a miracle. I’m a believer.
